Omnience hires Rick Nichols as chief sales officer

Atlanta, GA – July 18, 2013 --  Rick Nichols has joined Atlanta-based Omnience as the company’s Chief Sales Officer.  Omnience is a global leader in integrated event management solutions for corporate marketing events.

During Nichols’ 25+ year tenure as a sales and marketing executive for technology companies, he has significantly contributed to successful growth, transformation and turnaround strategies for industry market leaders, including Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, First Data, SAP America and others.

Nichols came to Omnience from Infomentis Inc., where he helped companies improve sales, support and marketing effectiveness with customers and partners.  For client IBM, he served on the team which designed the Demonstrating Value curriculum to support salespeople in articulating business value vs. technical features and implemented it globally.

At Omnience, Nichols will assist customers in turning marketing events into revenue and profits, thereby achieving their sales objectives and improving marketing efficiency. The company helps Fortune 500 companies realize the full potential of their marketing events.
